First Day of School

First Day of School

Today was my first day of school! I had 23 of 25 show up… we’ll see how many I end up with at the end of the week! They were pretty quiet, and attentive for the most part. A full day is hard for some of them to get used to again. For the most part, they seem excited for school… Mr. Carter had a little back to school assembly and he was talking some craziness that for sure. He just talked for 25 minutes about new school goals/values and some of the “jokes” were just over everyone’s heads. My class did sit still and listen though. I’ve got a lot of parents who want to help and be involved which is great! I am excited for this year!

First Visit to Thanksgiving Point

So Brad and Tiffany decided we needed a little culture and took us on our first visit to Thanksgiving Point. Now there is lots to do, but we decided time would be well spent at the Museum of Ancient Life… or “dinosaur museum” to most. Unfortunately we forgot the camera, so we can’t show you how fabulous it was…but it’s worth it. There are tons of cool things to read, see, and touch… yes touch! So family friendly. I would want to take my kids there and then I could play with them!

Baby Update!

It’s a boy

This is what Nada is looking like these days! She is 24 weeks along, and is getting larger every day!

Nada 24 Weeks
The baby sure likes to move around in there…especially in the morning when he is hungry!

He nearly kicked Harry Potter off of her lap on the plane!

Baby Corner

Here is the Pack and Play that Mom W. got for us. If you can’t tell, it’s a rainforest. So, here is the start of the baby corner! Woo hoo!

We are both really excited for him to come. I can’t keep my hands off Nada’s belly…for multiple reasons. I love feeling that baby kick!

A Summary of our Trip!

Hello Sexy

Marissa chopped her hair off to donate it to Locks of Love. It was all the way down to her butt!

We shredded 16 bags of my dad’s paperwork, and tried to “clean” his office for him! (I don’t know how much he really appreciated it, but it was for his own good!)

Amazing Cake

Steph and Kristen threw a fabulously fun baby shower! Isn’t the cake adorable?! I really enjoyed the time with friends.
Nashville Shores

We spent a day at Nashville Shores (a waterpark on the lake). I loved the water slides the best!

So cute!

We got to play with Aden quite a bit. Well… more like watch him play. He is so cute!

We also played quite a bit of Wii. I have great videos of my mom and dad playing, but I don’t know how to upload those yet! I’ll work on it!

We got to go to Dollywood with everyone, including Aaron and Dustin who took the day off 🙂 and Dawn (Aaron’s girlfriend)!

Unfornately Christina has all the good pictures I think… I’ll have to get them from her!

Dragon Tail

Nathan took us on the Dragon’s Tail… a curvy road through the Smokies… 318 curves in 11 miles… We only went on about 20 curves, but that was enough for me, I got a little sea sick!

p.s. Darin and I finished the the last Harry Potter (wonderful) and saw the 5th movie (great too). If you wanna talk about it, I’m available!
