Being in Idaho on Pioneer Day was fabulous. Quite a parade. We saw Uncle Torrey, Nikki, Hannah, and Courtney in the lead on their Harleys. Then all kinds of floats, such creativity. Of course there was candy thrown. I think Luke got more candy from this parade than he did from last Halloween! Natalie was a little more timid but G&G and great G&G made sure she got plenty too. My favorite the saltwater taffy, I think I ate most of that!
Then we headed to Torrey’s for an afternoon/evening of fun! Cooking out and visiting and playing till the sun went down and then we had a fire! Quite the boyscout Torrey, almost burned our faces off
Look at that beautiful grass, made some great volleyball. Everyone was having a good time, Jared was the master griller. A little hide and seek too.
The bike collection to drool over, the never-been-seen-before but oh-so-talked-about Mike Crump made an appearance and even validated dad’s crazy hunting story of jumping on the deer after shooting both front legs and riding it down the hillside to slit its throat, I just still don’t know! Even Uncle Ed came over to visit, and we got to see his latest creations!
Luke and Natalie were happily playing with more second cousins all day- Deja was just so friendly and happy to show them around. Look at great G&G with some of the “kids.” Wish I would have taken a picture of that bonfire!
What a fun trip! We were so happy to get to see you guys…even for a quick visit!
