Last weekend we had a family fun outing. Thanks to the community greeter we received a couple of passes to Cumberland Caverns, a savings of $36—thanks again! It’s an awesome cave system right here in McMinnville, over 32 miles of cave explored with lots of huge rooms and active growing formations.
The tour guide was fun and they have a light show as part of it. Now its 56 degrees year round in the cave, so we brought jackets for everyone. But Darin and I soon realized we didn’t need them, thanks to trading off with Natalie throughout the tour!
Natalie said it was a lot of fun. Luke said it was “cool” but not fun because he had to do a lot of walking!
Of course there is a gift shop and spot to sluice for gems and a maze box to crawl around in. The kids really enjoyed themselves outside as well. They got to get a lollipop which lasted for two days, making it quite memorable too.
