PART 1 (written 2 weeks ago)
Luke turned 4 months old on March 21st, and we got to go to the doctor for his 4 month checkup! We are pleased to announce that he weighs 16 lbs 5 oz. That puts him in the 75th percentile. He is 26.2 inches long…the 89th percentile! So, he is a pretty big dude. We are still working on getting him to sleep better, but I guess that just takes time. Mom and Dad Payne can’t believe how much he is changing, and when we look at some of the pictures from when he was born, we can’t believe it either. We are grateful that he is such a good healthy and happy boy! Check out the new photo album here! I turned 25 this month, and it is hard to believe that I am that old…not that I am really old or anything, but to say 25 for me sound old. Anyways, it was an awesome birthday! Nada put up the Birthday sign and 25 reasons why she loves me. She also spoiled me with ROCK BAND which has already been played a ton! Also, she got an ice cream maker, and we have already made a few batches of homemade ice cream! So, I guess it was worth it to turn 25! Thanks to everyone else who sent cards and phone calls!
PART 2 (written today)
We are now in Canada for Spring Break. Crazy spring weather has made it interesting it’s been snowing, sunny, and everything in between. We are having a blast with the Canadian Paynes. (pictures to come) Well we must let everyone know who doesn’t already… Darin got into TSU! and so we are headed to Tennessee, pretty quickly! School starts on June 2nd for him! We are excited and anxious to figure things out! We are also sad to leave so many great friends and the comfortable life we know. We will be out of here at the end of May.
Congrats!! I’m excited for you to be in school…but sad for me and all my dreams of living close to you again. We’ll just have to visit lots right? Give hugs to everyone up North for me! I’m glad I get to see you next week since you are moving so soon!
Very exciting! Maybe once you’re in Tennessee, I’ll get to see this cute kid of yours in person.
Congrats! I know two people that will really miss you! But it will be great in Tn.
Darin! I am so excited that you got into Tennesse! That means that you will come thru and I can see you soon!! Love you!!
Um when do we get to “sample” that homemade ice cream? It sounds quite appealing! And plus, we miss you. And plus, we want to get together.
